The word "circumcision" may be scary to young boys of Kyle's age. Heck, even I am scared of it. But we have been preparing Kyle for it since way back. We have always told him that one day, his "bird" will need to be cut away slightly, for him to become a man :)
And I am glad we did that, because my son entered the doctor's room for his circumcision and came out smiling like nothing happened! However, he did finally shed tears after the anesthetic wears off.

An hour after this pic, he was crying because of the pain.
It takes about a month to recover fully. He cries especially during bathing as he was so afraid of the water touching his penis and also when I put the cream on his penis. I had to continously comfort him and hubby kept reminding me not to put undue stress on him. We also laughed with him as he walked like a penguin and was in such a 'manja' state that he wanted me to be with him and hug and pat him to sleep. He sleeps and walks about in his grandpa's sarong.
