Flea Market Fun

I recently joined my aunt to sell 2nd hand stuff at a flea market near her house. There was just too much stuff at home such as old kids' clothes and shoes as well as my overflowing box of bags. So decided instead of just giving them away this time, I decided to try selling them and at least get some cash and of course some experience in selling stuff.

Business was not bad as we were at a neighbourhood estate.

Kyle was intrigued by all these and he also decided to take out some of his old toys to sell at the flea market.

To me and hubby, it was actually a test for him to practise his public speaking and confidence skills. I was very proud when I saw him approaching customers and telling them about the toys he was selling. He approached both kids and adults and promoted his toys confidently. When he got his first sale (he sold 5 cars and gave one away free), he was super happy and kept jumping up and down!

Kyra was still shy to approach any customers, but she was my little helper, arranging my stuff and helping me to paste the price labels.

It was certainly a good learning experience for the both of them.
