Excited Us!
People were dancing and singing. We were seated right in front nearby to the Diehard Fan Club so it was really noisy and happening. At one point during the match, Kyle was quite scared because everyone was shouting and calling the players and referees all the vulgarities they could think of! I instinctively covered their ears!
The kids joined in the Ole Ole song, did the Kallang Roar and waved their Singapore balloons!
Singapore's loss did not damper our mood much as we were happy the kids had fun.
We are already thinking of the next match to go :)
Hehe...a 32inch Sharp Plasma TV in our bedroom! It costs about S$800 and even comes with a free DVD player.
So this year instead of going out doing the usual romantic stuff, we did the romantic stuff in our bedroom! Haha :)
Its such a great feeling to relax on our bed watching DVDs all day along and having each other to cuddle up to.
5 things that made our marriage strong:
1. Loving and caring. We hold hands and kiss a lot! And we make it a point to kiss/salam before leaving each other to go to work and after coming back to work.
2. Tolerance and patience. Yes we are not perfect. I hate it when he leaves things lying around and he hates it when I am disorganized. But we learn to not be so petty and picky over small stuff. Whenever we quarrel, we try to talk and reason. If not I will sulk and let him say sorry to me 1st haha! The main thing is not to force the other party into doing what they do not want to do.
3. Generous. This one I have to give credit to Hubby. He is a very generous person and does not think twice about giving me or our parents $$. He is not calculative and will scrimps on himself but spends on his family cos he feels we deserve the best. I wish I was that generous, but not much $$, so how to be generous leh?
4. Family bonding. Time with our children is precious as we are both working parents. So we spend much of our nights and our weekends spending time and bonding with our kids. The children has definitely brought us closer to each other as we laugh and cry together over their growing up pains and joys.
5. Filial Piety. I treat his family just like my own and he treats my family just like his. Result: Less conflict and less quarrels, and more fun! In fact we are all so close that we always go for holidays together, his parents and my parents. Incredible and rare :)
Thank you darling for being a part of my life. I can never imagine life without you :)
It is quite a unique experience eating there. The meat served to us is raw and placed on a special cooking stone which has been pre-heated to up to 400 degrees Celcius. After 10 mins or so, the meat will be thoroughly cooked. Usually served with either rice, mashed potatoes or fries.
I got a special surprise from Hubby!
The best birthday gift? My babies singing Happy Birthday to me :)

We also drove up to Mahkota Parada Shopping Centre. Got myself a pair of gold platform shoes :) Just RM29.
At the shopping area

As per every year, we visited my aunt's house. She is my dad's eldest sister and she cooks the most delicious authentic Malaccan dishes.
Relaxing at her house
2nd day: Going to my uncle's house to see the korban (sacrificial process of the cows/lambs)

Kyle was feeling eeky also. As the villagers were cutting up the meat, he was almost scared to move, saying'There got so much blood!" and refused to come near the butchering area. Instead, he went to the rabbits' cage and fed them grass.

It was just a short one night trip but we certainly enjoyed ourselves despite the rain. Just one word of advice, never ever go back to Singapore on the last day of the holiday before work starts. Everyone had the same idea and we were all stuck at immigration for 2-hour plus! I hate jams!
